There is still time to apply for the ShUM cities 2026 International Artist-in-Residence Program.
Deadline for applications is September 30th, 2025.
The ShUM Cities project links the important medieval Jewish heritage of the German cities of Worms, Speyer, and Mainz and was included on UNESCO’s roster of World Heritage in 2021.
Up to three project scholarships are being offered for the realization of an artistic project that engages with the history of the ShUM-communities and their religious, cultural, intellectual and architectural heritage.
