We are pleased to share this job opportunity for a part-time, three-year position as Community Engagement Coordinator, posted by our friends at the Wiener Holocaust Library in London. The WHL is the world’s oldest Holocaust archive and the home of Britain’s largest collection of published and unpublished works, documents and photographs relating to the Nazi era.
The post will support an ambitious outreach programme to connect with Jewish communities and heritage practitioners across the UK over the next three years.
The Community Engagement Coordinator will target locations with sizable Jewish communities and sites of Jewish heritage “with a bespoke programme of family research and personal document collections preservation support.”
These will include “skills workshops for local archivists and community leaders, consultations for family researchers, as well as lectures and exhibition-based outreach for the wider public.”
Deadline for submission of applications is October 8.
