We are pleased to share this Call for Entries in the Youth Digital Storytelling Competition from the Centropa/ESJF project to incorporate Jewish cemeteries into education
Deadline for submissions in March 25, 2021
Students from the Centropa/ESJF project countries — Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Slovakia, Hungary & Croatia — are invited to submit creative projects telling the story of their local Jewish cemetery in the following categories:
• Movies
• Cemetery profiles on Google sites
• Online brochures
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of experts in Jewish history and audio-visual storytelling.
The winning project will receive €300 in electronic equipment for its school, which will be presented at an official awards ceremony in May. Runners up will receive prizes ranging from vouchers for electronic equipment to cinema tickets, and their projects will be shared online with the project’s global school network.
