Meanwhile, enjoy these Rosh Hashana-related images…..

In the Torah portion read on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, we find the Binding of Isaac, in which Abraham sacrifices a ram in place of his son, Isaac. Here’s a gravestone from 1727 whose carved decoration vividly shows the scene. It marks the grave of Abraham and Isaac Rephael Senior, sons of Benjamin Senior, and is in the historic Beth Haim Portuguese Jewish cemetery in Ourderkerk, Netherlands.
You can see the ram in the lower left hand corner.
Apples and honey are among the symbolic foods eaten at Rosh Hashana….these apples are in waiting.
Pomegranates are also a symbolic food of the season.
Here’s the great dome of the synagogue in Florence, Italy, framed by pomegranates — growing on some of the many pomegranate trees in the synagogue garden.
