Bologna, Italy – August 18
Nighttime guided tour around locations connected to the stories of the city’s Jewish community and its history. The tour is organized by the Bologna Jewish Museum and will be held in Italian. The tour is conducted by Cesare Barbieri, from the education department of the Bologna Jewish Museum. Time: 9 PM. Cost: €7. Reservation required.

Guided tour at the city’s synagogue, organized by the Austrian Jewish Museum. Cost: €3. Time: 11 AM.
Florence, Italy – August 18, 20, and 23

The latest edition of the weekly Balagan Café weekly mini-festival in the garden of the Florence synagogue. The action starts at 7 p.m.
Vienna, Austria – August 19, 20, and 21
Jewish heritage tour for kids from 6 to 10 years, from the Judenplatz Museum to the Vienna Jewish Museum. Reservation required. Mail: [email protected]. Time: 10.30 to 12.30 AM
Eisenstadt, Austria – August 19
Guided tour of the Eisenstadt former Jewish quarter and Jewish cemetery, organized by the Austrian Jewish Museum. Cost: €3. Time: 11 AM.
Carpentras, France – August 20
Guided tour of the Carpentras synagogue. Booking in advance required. Cost: €10. Time: from 9.30 AM to 11.00 AM.
Pesaro, Italy – August 20
Every Thursday until September the Pesaro Municipality is organizing weekly guided tours at the city’s Jewish cemetery. Time: 6 PM. Duration: 1 hour. Info and bookings: +39 348 7751596

During all summer the synagogue will be open to visitors every Thursday from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Pisa, Italy – August 20 and 23
Guided tour of the Pisa synagogue, its history, architecture and rituals. Cost: €8. The tour lasts for 1 hour, starting at 4, 5 and 6 PM. Bookings at: [email protected].
Stockholm, Sweden – August 20 and 23
Guided tour around the city’s Jewish heritage sites. This tour will take place every Thursday and Sunday at 2 PM until September. Duration: 1 hour. Cost: 140/120 Swedish crowns. Booking required.
Hohenems, Austria – August 22
Guided tour at the Hohenems Jewish quarter, organized by the city’s Jewish Museum. The tour includes a bagel at the cafe and a visit to the permanent exhibition of the museum. Time: from 11.00 to 12.30 AM. Cost: €18.
Copenhagen, Denmark – August 22
Because of the pandemic, the usual guided tours in English of the Danish Jewish Museum are suspended. However, every Saturday the Museum organized an „ask to the staff” day, during which visitors can ask everything related to Jewish life and history in Denmark. Time: 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM.
Dorsten, Germany – August 22
Guided tour to Dorsten’s historic buildings and sites, organized by the Westphalia Jewish Museum. Time: 3 PM.

Warsaw, Poland – August 22-30
The 17th annual Singer’s Warsaw Jewish Culture Festival – a range of concerts, performances, and other events; some on-site and some online
Warsaw, Poland – August 23
Walking tour around the Muranów district in the traces of the famous Polish poet Boleslaw Lesmian. The tour is organized by POLIN – The Museum of the History of Polish Jews. It accompanies the museum’s current temporary exhibition on Muranów, the former downtown Jewish quarter and site of the WW II Jewish ghetto. Time: 2.30 PM. Duration: 1.5 hours. Cost: 20/15/1 zloty.
Berlin, Germany – August 23

Winnweiler, Germany – August 23
All the areas of the Jewish Museum of the North Palatinate can be visited with an entrance fee of €2. The museum is only open on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Time: 2.30 to 5.30 PM. Compulsory wearing the mask.
Vienna, Austria – August 23
The Vienna Jewish Museum organizes a guided tour to the extraordinary life of Hedy Lamarr. The ticket includes a pause at the Eskeles Caffe. Cost: €15. Info and reservation: [email protected]. Maximum 15 participants. Time: 2 PM.
Trondheim, Norway – August 23
Every Sunday, the Jewish Museum of Trondheim organizes guided tours to the museum. Time: 1 PM. Cost: 70 Norwegian Crowns.

Augsburg, Germany – August 23
Guided tour of the Augsburg Jewish Museum and synagogue organized by the Augsburg-Schwaben Jewish Museum. Cost: free of charge. Because of the pandemic, reservation with three days of advanced is needed. Time: 3 PM.
Frankfurt, Germany – August 23
Guided tour of the Judengasse Jewish Museum in Frankfurt. Reservation in advance required. Time: 2 PM.
Vercelli, Italy – August 23
