Four months after a terrorist shooting that claimed four lives, the Jewish Museum of Belgium will reopen fully to the public at 11 a.m. on September 14, the European Day of Jewish Culture.
The museum made the announcement on its web site.
Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo will speak at a formal ceremony to reopen the museum and pay homage to the four victims, Myriam and Emmanuel Riva, Dominique Sabrier, and Alexandre Strens.
The European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) has suggested that all European Day of Jewish Culture events, in all the participating countries, hold a a minute of silence at their start in memory of the victims of the Brussels attack.
