Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe Academic Jewish Studies Grants — Applications Now Open
Deadline for applications is Tuesday 9 January, 2024 at 5pm UK time.

This programme aims to develop rigorous, systematic research and education in academic Jewish studies throughout Europe.
The Foundation provides funding to individual scholars and to university departments to undertake innovative Jewish Studies research and to train the next generation of scholars. It also prioritises the teaching and learning of Jewish languages.

- Doctoral Fellowships
- Post-Doctoral Fellowships
- Digital Humanities Research Grants
- Jewish Language Teaching Fellowships
- Academic Language Grants
Several major university departments across Europe currently have a multi-year grant from the Foundation to ensure the sustainability of their Jewish studies research and teaching. These grants are currently under review and may be offered again in 2025.
