A new round of application for grants from the Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe is now open for three of its grants categories: Museums; Jewish Education; and Archives & Libraries. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2020.
A different procedure is in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic — one stage, rather than two, in the application process. The Foundation states:
Due to the impact of COVID-19, we have decided to have only one stage to allow applicants more time to complete the application form. We appreciate the challenges in gathering all the documentation together in these circumstances and the uncertainty of the coming months. Therefore, applicants are only required to submit certain documents at this stage, with further documents only if their application is successful. Please refer to each Programme’s Notes of Guidance for more information. The deadline for this round of applications is 15th September 2020.
Applications are welcome from any organization or institution active in Europe (including Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus), where activities qualify as charitable under UK charity law. Further restrictions apply to the Jewish education programme – please check the notes of guidance.
