With COVID-19 travel and other restrictions easing in Europe, Jewish heritage sites are becoming accessible again to tourists and other visitors — as long as social distancing and other hygiene measures are in place.
We have been keeping a running list of Jewish museums and heritage sites that have been reopening in many countries — click here to access it.
But guided tours of Jewish heritage — of synagogues, Jewish cemeteries, and historic Jewish quarters — are also now beginning to be scheduled again. There are even some Jewish culture festivals coming up.
We have begun listing the tours and other events that we know about in the Upcoming Events section of our Home Page — that’s in the lower right hand corner.
At the moment, we list tours and other events in France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary….take a look and see if there’s something you can take part in.
