
Last week we posted news about the amazing discovery of a wooden synagogue in Kulautuva, Lithuania — revealed when the communist-era brick walls that had been built around it were being demolished.

Is this going to be restored/rebuilt? Were any Jewish items recovered?
The hidden building was only just revealed. As per our original story, what to do with it is under discussion. The Cultural Heritage Department wants it listed as a protected site. As you can see from the pictures, it is in very bad condition.
