
The neoclassical synagogue in Óbuda, in the northern part of Budapest, was designed by András Landherr and dedicated in 1821. It long served as a studio of Hungarian TV after World War II.
Since 2010 it has been used for religious services by the EMIH Jewish community, which is associated with Chabad and which is conducting a long-term restoration of the building.
Much still remains to be done, but we have come across this video that shows plans for how the synagogue will look when completely restored and renovated.

When will restoration be completed? It looks absolutely stunning, and would love to visit it.
They are looking for money in order to complete it…..
