Volunteers have carried out a clean-up operation at the Jewish cemetery in Gyöngyös, Hungary, which recently was hit by an attack by vandals. The two-day operation, April 24-25 saw dozens of volunteers clearing vegetation and carrying out other work. The action was funded by a variety of Jewish organization as well as the town authorities.
Last month, vandals damaged about 20 graves in the cemetery, toppling stones, breaking into family tombs and even scattering remains. The fence around the cemetery was also damaged.
Hungarian TV reports on the clean-up action:

Craig we have to take it and accept the gesture for what it is, no one group will shout loud enough for 6 million and it is our duty to ensure the world does not forget but if young people give up their time they are to be commended!
how wonderful to see so many young people taking part, gives one some hope for the future!
You can say its wonderful to see people banding together to repair the physical damage.
I worry how so few can recreate the devastation and awaken the screams of a not so long ago attempt to exterminate the Jews.
My personal opinion let’s make the repairs, but keep a mindful eye and take immediate and swift action stop these acts. We need the lions in our community.
