Mazel tov to the Riga Ghetto Museum, whose recently redesigned web site has been nominated for a “Webby” award in the cultural institutions category. The Webbys are awarded by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) to honor excellence on the internet.
Also nominated in the category are the web sites of the Warsaw Rising 1944 museum, the Guggenheim Museum, War Ink, and The High Line.
This year’s Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and more than 60 countries worldwide. Fewer than 8 percent of the entries were selected as nominees. The winners will be announced April 27.
