Red de Juderias, the Network of Jewish Quarters in Spain, reports that the city of Palma has launched a new Jewish interpretation center for the city’s Jewish quarters. The Mayor of Palma, Mateo Isern, opened new center, called the Maimó ben Faraig Center, on March 30.
Located at 9 Almudaina Street, it has as its aims “encouraging and promoting all activities related to Jewish history and culture of Palma and promote cultural tourism.”
Palma, on the island of Majorca (Mallorca), has been part of the Network of Jewish Quarters in Spain since 2005. As such, the City Council promotes participation in the annual European Day of Jewish Culture as well as various Jewish cultural activities. [NOTE: As of 2019 Palma no longer was listed as a part of the Network.]

Hola,
I will be visiting the beautiful city of Palma on Sunday October 4, from a cruise ship. I would like to know, please, what information you have for the new museum of Jewish History. Thanks. Shabbat shalom and shana tova.
