A major conference will be taking place in Poland June 24-26 — the Second Congress of Jewish Art in Poland, whose theme is Art in Jewish Society.
The meeting, which will take place at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, is organized by the Museum and the Polish Institute of World Art Studies, with funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Topics include a wide variety of issues dealing with art, architecture, symbolism and society, and speakers include scholars from Europe, Israel and North America.
