Pardon the fireworks, but we have something to celebrate! Our Jewish Heritage Europe Newsfeed has just passed a big milestone — more than 500 posts in the bit more than two years that we’ve been active!
(This post, BTW, is our 504th.)
We have posted news, information and insight on Jewish heritage issues in more than 30 countries in Europe — on everything from Archaeology, Architecture and Art to Tourism, Genealogy and Vandalism, with much more in between: check the categories list on any one of the news pages.
Our Newsfeed is not a blog — though we have from time to time included first-hand reports on sites and issues. Our main goal has been to provide news and information — that means linking to articles, web sites, announcements and other material around the web that we believe will be of interest to our users. Our searchable archive now represents a valuable database on the current state of Jewish built heritage in Europe.
Thanks for your interest — and continued interest, I hope!
Please help us out by keeping us updated with news and links, and with reports on developments about your own projects, as well as announcements of events, honors, and the like.
In the near future we will be creating photo galleries and also spaces where individual projects can be highlighted.
So — stay tuned!
And if you already haven’t, do subscribe to the Newsfeed (and/or follow us on Facebook and Twitter).
