The installation of the replica of the painted ceiling and bimah of the destroyed wooden synagogue that once stood in Gwozdziec (now Ukraine) have been completed at the Museum of the History Polish Jews.
In this video, Rick and Laura Brown of Handshouse Studio, which devised and carried out this project, share their thoughts earlier this month, as the final details were put into place, completing 10 years of research and construction.
