The public is invited to “open doors” events at the Jewish cemetery in Moinesti, in northeast Romania, on Sept. 6 and 8, between 4 and 6 p.m. The events are sponsored by the Leolam Jewish Heritage Foundation, which was founded by descendants of Jews from Moinesti and is dedicated in particular to preserving the cemetery, whose earliest legible gravestone dates from the 1740s.
The cemetery is located on the main road of the Osoiu Hill, on the right side of the road, close to the hilltop.
