The Education Department of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw has launched a new degree program, ‘Animacja społeczna – judaizm i kultura żydowska na ziemiach polskich’ (Social animation — Judaism and Jewish culture in Polish lands), whose aim is to prepare students to work in educational departments at museums, cultural and tourist institutions, local media, agencies for documentation of social and cultural life and at Jewish centers and organizations.
The program offers classes about historical and contemporary Israel, Christian-Jewish relations, and courses in Hebrew and Yiddish. The curriculum also includes the design of educational programs and their application regarding social and cultural activities. The web site does not provide information about who the professors will be, nor if there is cooperation with the Jewish Historical Institute, Museum of the History of Polish Jews or other institutions.
The full curriculum can be seen HERE
