Visualizing and Exhibiting Jewish Space and History, vol. 26 of Studies in Contemporary Jewry, has recently been published by Oxford University Press. Edited by Richard I. Cohen, it is probably the first volume in English that is devoted to Jewish museums and exhibitions in the 20th century, with special attention given to the period after the Holocaust.
Jewish Heritage Europe Coordinator Ruth Ellen Gruber contributes a chapter on Jewish museums in Europe during the communist period after the Holocaust.
