Calling all tour guides, tour operators, teachers, individual travellers, curators – and other interested persons! Do you want to learn how to develop self-guided mobile audio tours?
The Jewish Heritage Network (JHN), the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) and izi.TRAVEL are are offering an intensive summer training program on doing just that, with a practical, result-oriented online course that will consist of 5 online sessions, each 90 minutes long, and be delivered by experts in the field.

As part of the training, participants will be encouraged to develop their own tours and present them to fellow participants and instructors. The best tours will be presented at the final session and promoted by the project.
Registration is required, but free — Click here to find full details and register.
The training is developed and offered under the auspices of the project J-Story/Jewish History Tours funded by the European Commission and coordinated by JHN. While project partners are the main target audience, others are most welcome to participate.
The weekly course takes place every Thursday at 16:00 CET, from July 22 until August 19.
Each session is devoted to a core topic, with demonstrations and instruction in specific techniques, bolstered by presentations from guest lecturers on topics ranging from how to prepare a prepackaged audio guide suited to listening in the car, to how to use and corporate virtual technology, and how to structure tours.
