We post here pictures taken of the site, in front of the ruined Golden Rose synagogue, on November 8 by researcher Alex Denysenko. Thanks to Alex for allowing us to post his pictures!

When were the photos taken? Are there any ongoing efforts to appeal the decision to halt work on the project?
As the post states, these pictures were taken on November 8. Since then, work has been proceeding. The Project does not fit to the site’s interests. It violates the Rule of Law and was cancelled by the Supreme Economic court of Ukraine in 2013. The ignorance t=of the Rule of Law and UNESCO shows the corruption in the municipality with the aim to make a square promenade space for the number of restaurants owned by the bureaucracy or close to them people. Nothing has been done to take away the ground water, the walls will be still wet. The roofs of the remnants were covered with tiles to direct the rain water inside the synagogue and turn it to pool when it will raining.
