The interviewer asked her to highlight some of her favorite sites to visit, in North America as well as Europe.

The idea was to introduce readers to sites most may never had heard about — so the list mainly focuses on lesser-known sites and for the most part steers clear of major cities and more famous places.
Among them she highlighted two favorite but long-threatened historic synagogues that are undergoing fitful restoration — those in Subotica, Serbia and Iaşi, Romania.
