On the local Day of the Mosque, young people from a local Islamic organization, led by local Imams, are cleaning up the Jewish cemetery in Tuzla, Bosnia Herzegovina.
As part of its “House of Life” project to open the cemetery to the public, nine families will be coming to the historic Willesden Jewish cemetery on May 26 to tell stories of people buried there.
A photographic exhibit on Holocaust memorials in Bosnia-Herzegovina opens on November 9, the anniversary of Kristallnacht, at the Jewish Cultural Center in Doboj.
It was curated by Michael Ilg and Katja Grosse-Sommer and supported by Paideia – The Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden.
