The mansion of the Jewish banker Moise de Camondo, built in 1911, and houses his collection of 18th century French furnishings, which he dedicated to his son Nissim, a French aviator killed in battle in 1917 during World War I. Moise bequeathed the mansion and collection to Les Arts Décoratifs on his death in 1935. His only daughter and her family were murdered in the Holocaust; the museum also displays family photographs and memorabilia.

Friends of the Alsatian-Jewish Museum
An association dedicated to preserving Jewish heritage in Alsace, in particular in small towns and villages. It was established in 1984 with the original goal of saving the Bouxwiller synagogue and transforming it into a Jewish museum.

Located in a patrician Jewish house dating from 1590, the museum focuses on rural life and on Judaism in Alsace from the middle ages to the 18th and 19th centuries. The house includes a mikveh installed in the 18th century.
