Medieval Jewish London History Day

Discover the story of Jewish life in medieval London with the Jewish Square Mile Foundation at the Barbican Centre.

A programme of expert talks, walking tour and family activities will bring this period vividly to life while challenging some of the myths that surround it. Speakers include leading scholars Dean Irwin and Rory McLellan, whose research offers fresh insight into the everyday lives and experiences of medieval Jewish London.

The Jewish Museum will be running a series of children’s activities throughout the day, with crafts including collage, hat making and brick making. Children must be accompanied by an adult. (Tickets available for the children’s programme via a separate link.
