Czech Day of Jewish Monuments

The Czech Republic’s annual Day of Jewish Monuments.

More than 75 Jewish heritage sites in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia will be made available visitors (free of charge or for a voluntary contribution) between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Attractions include the Čáslav Synagogue, whose cassette ceiling and entrance doors have been restored, as well as  Jewish cemeteries in Drmoul, Mariánské Lázně, Moravský Krumlov, and Příbram, and the synagogues in Neveklov, Volhynia and Písek.

This year’s event is complemented by an accompanying program, which mostly consists of guided tours, lectures or concerts. Guided tours will take place in Slaný, Přerov, Žamberk and Nýrsko.
