10 Centuries of Judaism: A look at Jewish heritage in the Grand Est

This exhibition is an opportunity to (re) discover the objects and places of Jewish life through photographs from more than 50 years of study of the general inventory. They show majestic witnesses of exceptional architecture as well as quality goldsmithery and more humble objects of daily life, sometimes from Genizot. From the evocation of the work of Talmudist Rashi (v. 1040-1105) to the synagogues rebuilt after the Second World War, the exhibition touches nearly ten centuries of Judaism in the Grand Est. The exhibit is in Bouxwiller after being presented for the first time in Strasbourg, in 2019, and then Troyes in 2024.
