AEPJ Jewish Heritage Routes in Spain

Catalonian Jewish Heritage Route
A Jewish quarters network encompassing the Catalonian towns of Barcelona, Besalú, Castelló d’Empúries, Girona, Montblanc, Tortosa, which pulled out of the Spanish Red de Juderias in 2016. (See note below).

Red de Juderias — Network of Jewish Quarters
The Network is an association formed by nearly a score of towns around the country. The web site has calendar listings, recipes, addresses and more. The Destinations page has links to material on touristic resources as well as listings for guided tours and other sightseeing. NOTE: Five towns in Catalonia withdrew from the Network 2016.
There is also a downloadable Travel App for the Network, in Android and IOS platforms.
BARCELONA
Urban Cultours project: Revisiting Jewish Heritage in Barcelona and the Memory of Sepharad
Established in 1999 by Architect and Jewish heritage activist Dominique Tomasov Blinder to revisit Jewish past from a present Jewish perspective. Her educational programs of Jewish Barcelona are combine history, current affairs, opinions and personal experience. Blinder was a founder of Center of Studies Zakhor (2006-2012) and a consultant to the World Monuments Fund.
