DESCRIPTION:March 8 is International Women’s Day — on the occasion\, the Willesden Jewish Cemetery in London offers a guided walking tour to celebrate some of the women buried there.  \n\nMany Jewish women made significant cultural and social impact across a varied landscape over both the nineteenth and twentieth century.  The spirit of Jewish women throughout the generations\, women who never gave up hope that they could make the world better for their children and their children’s children and for all the children of the world are celebrated in our Women of Willesden guided walk. \nWe have selected some significant Jewish women who helped change history through their philanthropy\, scientific and business achievements.
