The Komárno Menház Synagogue will be rededicated after renovations with a public event, which will include a concert by the Klezmerész Ensemble at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the Zoltán Wallenstein Hall. Registration is required by writing to kile@menhaz.sk.
Renovation work began at the end of August, during which new flooring was installed and the benches, the bimah, the ark, the steps leading to the gallery, and the inner doors were refurbished. New shelves were also installed near the entrance. The synagogue renovation was supported by the Federation of Jewish Communities in Slovakia.
