JHE Coordinator’s talk reflecting on the development of Jewish heritage tourism

The Center for Urban History in Lviv has posted the full video of a talk given by Jewish Heritage Europe’s coordinator Ruth Ellen Gruber, reflecting on the development of Jewish heritage tourism over the past 25-30 years.  She discusses how places that back then were sites of Dark Tourism — are now tourist attractions.

The themes in this talk will be among those discussed at the upcoming international conference on Jewish Heritage Tourism in the Digital Age, which takes place in Venice October 23-25.
